My perfect Fall color palate and a new slipcover

It’s hard to believe it’s already time to decorate for fall. The seasons seem to come faster every year. The Lord is teaching me and using the seasons to show me many things. One thing is to have hope that when things get hard, there will be an end and a fresh new season will come. He also promises us that He is with us in EVERY season and there is so much beauty in each season even the hard ones.

So this year I decided to go with a different color palate than I have ever done! To really celebrate how every season is different and there is joy in every season. My favorite color is pink because nothing screams joy and happiness to me like PINK!!!

I knew I wanted to use pink when I saw some faux pink pumpkins at Michaels. Then I saw this gorgeous card and the Target dollar spot and I knew I had my other colors to go with the pink!

I also found those little mint green pumpkin plates at Target dollar spot. I thought they were so cute!!

I usually decorate my front rooms of the house first for the holidays but this year I decided to start with our kitchen and family room area because I also wanted to share my new slipcover with you. My friend Tracey from Tracey’s Feathered Nest has an Etsy shop (link) where she offers custom seamstress work. Let me tell y’all she is AMAZING! She created this custom slipcover for my window bench in my kitchen.

This photo is after I have already had to wash it! ( grandbaby ????) And I love it even more!! This spot in our home gets TONS of use.. we have a big family and lots of dogs and two kittens .. so far this slipcover has held up wonderfully!

She even made a big zipper for easy removal!!

She does amazing work!!

You can see how I took the colors from that card from Target and started a tablescape for fall.

Here is some more fall colors carrying into the family room that is open to the kitchen.

I still need to paint the legs on this raw edge table my husband made! ???? I’m still working on styling everything but wanted to give you a little peak into the start of my fall decorating!

I hope you join me again to see the rest of our home decorated for fall. ??????

Love,
Hope
