Beautiful and Budget Friendly Baby Shower
Life is so full of beauty, wonder, hardships

We moved into our new home about 3 months ago, so Alex and I worked very hard to get the house ready for the big celebration. It was very surreal because Jereme and Sarah were with us the first time we ever saw this house and Sarah and I talked about how amazing it would be to have her baby shower here. If you follow me over on InstaGram you have seen the many projects we have already completed and I’ve shared some here on the blog too. It has been so much fun.

The first thing I did when planning this shower or planning any party for that matter is to choose a theme and color scheme and of course, our theme would be daisies and flowers with lots of shades of pink!

I also love to think of things to use for decorating for the shower that the momma to be can use in the babies room, so some of the decorations can also serve a dual purpose. For example, these large paper flowers that Sarah and I made that will be used in Daisy’s room and I also made a few wreaths that will be used in her room as well. We incorporated the big flowers into the decor in several places to give a cohesive feel to the shower decor. I have linked a few similar flowers and wreaths for you below.

I love the way they added a special touch to the beautiful balloon arch too! You won’t believe how inexpensive this was and also how easy it was to assemble! We did have a hand pump and an air compressor to blow the balloons up and that was a HUGE help. I have linked the exact balloon arch we used for you here. We also used this amazing and affordable kit that came with so many fabulous items. I also used some cute pink buckets to hold the silverware and napkins that I gave to Sarah after the shower to use for Daisy’s room. I have linked a similar one here.

Other ways I love to incorporate some gifts into the party decor is by using adorable clothes. There is nothing sweeter than baby clothes so these make the perfect addition to the baby shower decor. I hung these from pink twine and used clothespins. We also used this gorgeous round wood sign that Sarah made as part of the decor too! I have linked a few here in case you want to use this idea as well.

We had so much fun and everyone helped out in the party prep, i

And sweet Kyleigh was so excited to help decorate for her new cousin.

Bri and Hayley helped too! I am so t

But I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my amazing husband! He worked so hard to make this day extra special and I am so grateful for all of his hard work to bring my ideas to life. He is the best.
I ordered most of the party supplies from Amazon (linked below) and we kept the food simple with some beautiful charcuterie boards we put together and some yummy daisy cupcakes that my bestie Heather brought. I got the fruit, veggies, meats, and cheeses from SAMS club. We had the drinks set up outside and used these cute drink dispensers to hold tea and lemonade.

I have linked a few trays and stands for you below that I love to have on hand for parties and decorating.

It was such an incredible celebration and I hope these tips helped inspire you to create a fabulous party on a budget!! I do have some videos saved on my Instagram highlights for you as well.
Thank you for following along on our beautiful journey of life as our family continues to grow!
XO,
Hope
